Admin activity log
Every action by everybody — the widest view of the audit trail the panel has, and the only one that shows account events next to server events.
OSS Panel records the same events three times over, behind three different permissions. Admin Panel → Activity Log is the widest of the three: every row, every user, both halves of the panel, nothing filtered out.

The three activity screens
| Screen | Shows | Needs |
|---|---|---|
| Account → Activity | Only your own rows, account events only | Nothing — any signed-in user |
| Activity Log | Everybody's rows, server events only | The activity_log permission |
| Admin → Activity Log | Everybody's rows, every event | Admin Panel access |
The middle one deliberately excludes logins, password changes and role assignments — those are about people, not about the machine. This screen is where those two halves are shown together, and that is its whole reason for existing.
Reading a row
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
| When | Relative — "3 minutes ago". |
| User | The @username that did it, or System for scheduled work. |
| Type | The feature family. |
| Description | A full sentence, in your language. |
Filtering
Open the type dropdown. Unlike every other activity screen in the panel, this list is the complete catalog of event families the software can ever record — not the families that happen to have rows today.

Note what is here that the server-wide log does not offer: User, Role, Permissions, Central and Panel update. Those are account-scope families, and this is the only screen that filters by them.
Or search. The search box matches the type, the action name and the recorded details — so an application name or an IP address finds its rows. It does not match the translated sentence you are reading, because that sentence is rendered in your language and the data behind it is not.
Page through. The footer sets how many rows per page and reports the total. Filters are kept in the URL, so a filtered view is a link you can send to somebody.
What counts as an event
The catalog holds 234 distinct sentences. Three of them belong to features that no longer exist — their wording is kept so old rows still read properly, but they are hidden from the filter, because an option that can never match anything is a broken option rather than a thorough one.
System as the user is a real answer, not a missing one: a scheduled backup, an automatic disk clean, a deploy fired by a Git webhook. Nobody was there, and the panel says so rather than attributing the action to whichever administrator was nearest.
Limits worth knowing
- Nothing is editable or deletable. There is no "clear log" anywhere in the panel, by design.
- No date range. You filter by type, by user and by search text; to reach older rows you page back.
- No action-level filter in the toolbar. The API can filter on an exact, untranslated event id, but the screen does not expose it.
- The hover timestamp is wrong in v1.0.14. The exact date shown on hover misreads day and month, and shows nothing at all for days 13–31. The relative time in the When column is computed on the server and is correct. See the Activity Log known issue for the detail.
